Human Resource Compensation and Classification Division Manager

The City of Charlotte’s Human Resources Department is seeking a highly
experienced Compensation and Classification Division Manager. This role
will report to a member of the Human Resources Department Executive
Director team and will manage the compensation staff.


Salary Range $118,820 – $138,624 

The ideal candidate is one who has compensation leadership/management experience, demonstrated advanced level Excel skills, analytical skills, and the ability to engage department leaders to and understand the needs of our various departments. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated reputation of strong problem resolution skills, strategic thinking, the ability to work under tight deadlines, be highly responsive, and customer centric, with strong interpersonal communication skills utilizing an array of communication tools.
