The City of Charlotte’s Human Resources Department is seeking a highly experienced Human Resources (HR) professional to serve as a Lead Compensation Administrator.




Salary Range 97,754 – $114,046

This role reports to the HR Compensation and Classification Division Manager and lead a team of compensation analysts that partner with city departments. The ideal candidate is one who has compensation plan design and administration work experience, demonstrated advanced level Excel skills, intermediate level PowerPoint skills, analytical skills, and the ability to work with and understand the needs of varied departments. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated reputation of strong problem solving, the ability to work under tight deadlines, exhibit critical thinking skills, highly responsive, and customer oriented, and effective customer-centric communication skills.
